Terms of Service

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Welcome. Before you step into The Lotus Room, we want to be clear and honest with you about what this space is, what it offers, and what it asks of you in return — because trust is the foundation everything else here is built on.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Lotus Room, including our membership community, coaching sessions, courses, resources, and any related content (collectively, the "Services"), operated by The Lotus Room Coaching LLC ("we," "us," or "the Lotus Room"). By purchasing, registering for, or otherwise using the Services, you ("Member," "you") agree to these Terms. If anything here doesn’t feel right for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions before joining — we’d rather you feel fully at ease.

1. What The Lotus Room Is — and Isn't

We want you to know exactly who is holding this space for you. The Lotus Room is a peer support and coaching community founded on lived experience, not professional credentials. The founder is not a licensed attorney, therapist, psychologist, or financial advisor — and we'll never pretend otherwise.

So that there's no confusion, nothing shared in the Services — including community discussions, live calls, coaching sessions, courses, or resource materials — constitutes:

  • Legal advice, or representation of any kind

  • Financial or investment advice

  • Licensed mental health treatment, therapy, or clinical diagnosis

What you'll find here instead is real, lived experience, warmth, and honest encouragement. It's not a substitute for a qualified attorney, licensed therapist, or financial professional, and we gently encourage you to lean on those professionals for legal, financial, or clinical matters alongside your time here. You remain the author of your own decisions — we're simply honored to walk beside you as you make them.

2. Eligibility

This space is here for women aged 35 and older. By registering, you're confirming that you meet this age requirement, and that the information you've shared with us is accurate. We use this age range because it reflects who The Lotus Room was built for and who our support is designed around — it isn't a judgment on anyone outside it.

3. Scope of Services

The Lotus Room offers peer support and coaching for women navigating divorce or separation, delivered through:

  • A Discovery Call — a free, one-time, 30-minute introductory conversation

  • The 12-Session Program — our full coaching program

  • Community Membership — ongoing access to our community space

  • À La Carte Sessions — single 1-hour stand-alone coaching sessions

A note on co-parenting: co-parenting coaching is outside the scope of what The Lotus Room provides. If a co-parenting need comes up in your time with us, we'll recognize it and refer you to a qualified, neutral outside professional rather than attempt to coach you through it ourselves.

4. Membership, Payment & Billing

We want billing to feel simple and transparent, never like a surprise. Here's how it works:

  • Discovery Call: free, one-time-only, 30 minutes.

  • 12-Session Program: a flat, one-time fee of $800, billed in full at the time of purchase. No payment plan is offered.

  • Community Membership: $26/month or $260/year, billed in advance on a recurring basis. Community Membership is open to any Member; prior completion of the 12-Session Program is encouraged but not required.

  • À La Carte Session: $107 per 1-hour session, paid at the time of scheduling.

  • Recurring Community Membership renews automatically at the then-current rate unless cancelled prior to the next billing date.

  • You're always free to cancel a recurring Community Membership — no guilt, no hard feelings — at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial-period refunds are provided unless required by law.

  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice to active Members.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

We want you to feel confident before you invest here, and clear about what to expect if your plans change.

12-Session Program

  • The $800 program fee is non-refundable once your first session is booked.

  • You may reschedule up to two (2) individual sessions per calendar year, no questions asked.

  • Each session begins at its scheduled start time, whether or not you're present at that time — session time is not extended for late arrival.

Community Membership

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once billed. You're always free to cancel to stop future charges (see Section 4), but we don't offer partial refunds for the current billing period.

À La Carte Sessions

  • À La Carte session fees are non-refundable once booked, and follow the same two-reschedules-per-calendar-year and on-time-start terms as the 12-Session Program.

When Life Is Unpredictable

We know this season of life rarely goes according to plan. If something extraordinary comes up outside of what's covered above, please reach out — we'll always listen with an open heart. Exceptions outside this policy are considered case by case, at our discretion, and are never guaranteed. This policy is firm so that trust has clear, steady ground to stand on from the very beginning — not because we've stopped caring about your particular circumstances.

6. Code of Conduct

The Lotus Room only works because every woman here feels safe enough to be honest. That safety is something we build together. By participating, you agree to:

  • Treat other members and facilitators with respect, even in disagreement

  • Hold what is shared by other members within the community as confidential, and not screenshot, repost, or share it outside the group without permission

  • Refrain from harassment, hate speech, solicitation, or promotion of outside businesses or services without permission

  • Understand that this is a peer support space, not a crisis or emergency service

Protecting this space sometimes means we have to ask a Member to leave, without refund, if these guidelines aren't honored. We don't take that lightly, and we hope it's something you'll never need to worry about.

7. Not a Crisis Service

Your safety matters to us deeply, which is why we want to be upfront: The Lotus Room is not equipped to respond to emergencies or mental health crises. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, please reach out right away to 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. You deserve real-time support in those moments, and we want you to have it.

8. Intellectual Property

The guides, workbooks, templates, recordings, and course materials you'll find here were made with care, specifically for you. They belong to The Lotus Room Coaching LLC and are yours to use for your own path forward — we just ask that you don't reproduce, resell, or distribute them without our written permission.

9. Testimonials & Results

From time to time, we share testimonials and stories from women who've spent time in The Lotus Room. These reflect one person's real, individual experience. They are not a promise or guarantee of what your own experience or outcome will be — everyone's circumstances, effort, and season of life are different. Results are individual. Testimonials reflect one person's real experience and are not a guarantee of your own outcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lotus Room Coaching LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including decisions made based on peer support, coaching, or content received through the community. Your use of the Services is at your own discretion, and any decisions you make based on information or support received here are your own responsibility. We say this not to distance ourselves from you, but so you can trust that this space is grounded in honesty.

11. Changes to These Terms

As The Lotus Room grows and evolves, these Terms may too. We'll always let active Members know when something material changes, and continuing to use the Services after that means you're on board with the update.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Contact

We're genuinely glad to hear from you. Questions about these Terms, or anything else, can be sent to [email protected].

Note: This document reflects finalized business terms as of the date above and is ready for attorney flat-fee review before publishing — particularly the eligibility, refund, and liability sections, which vary by state and business structure.

Going forward — I'm here to lift you up.
